No1 Fencing is a specialist fencing contractor working across South London and  Kent .  Fencing and gates are the whole business, which is why we can talk through a boundary in detail rather than in generalities.

How we work

Every job starts with a site visit, because the two things that decide a fencing price are invisible from a photograph: the ground, and the access. We test posts, look for old footings, check levels along the run.

You then get an itemised written estimate. If we think a repair will do instead of a replacement, we will say so and estimate both.

The standards we build to

• Posts set in concrete, to a depth suited to the height and the ground
• Pressure-treated timber throughout, with cut ends re-treated on site
• Gravel boards on any run where timber would otherwise sit in soil
• Galvanised or stainless fixings.
• The old fence, posts and concrete removed and disposed of
