Boundary fencing
Boundary work is as much about agreement as it is about carpentry. Getting the line, the height and the ownership clear before anyone digs is what keeps a fencing job from becoming a neighbour dispute.
Establishing the line
We work from what is physically there — existing post positions, old concrete, walls, and the neighbouring fences either side. Where the line is genuinely unclear, that is a question for your title plan or a surveyor, not for a fencing contractor to decide on the day.
We will happily install to whatever line you and your neighbour agree, and we will put that agreed line in writing on the estimate.
Building inside your own boundary
If you want the whole structure inside your land, we set the posts back so that no part of the fence oversails. That reduces the width of your garden very slightly but removes any argument about encroachment.
