A gate is the hardest-working part of any boundary. It gets used every day, it carries its own weight on two hinges, and it is the part people notice when it goes wrong.

Ironmongery is what fails first
Cheap hinges and latches are the reason most gates drop, bind or rattle. We use heavy-duty galvanised or stainless ironmongery sized to the gate, with three hinges on anything heavy and a proper drop bolt on double gates.
